Chad Hartvigson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Chad Hartvigson is the Founder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Prep Sportswear. Chad oversees the company’s entire management and operations. He brings 20 years of sports apparel industry experience along with expertise in management and marketing.
In 2013, under Chad’s leadership, Prep Sportswear was named to the Inc. Magazine list of Fastest Growing Private Companies for the fifth consecutive year. In 2013, the company ranked #2305 on the list of Fastest Growing Private Companies. The company was also named to the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in the State of Washington for the fifth consecutive year. Prep Sportswear is currently ranked #531 on the 2013 Internet Retailer Second 500 list of largest online retailers. In 2007, the Puget Sound Business Journal named Chad one of the top forty professionals under the age of 40.
Prior to founding Prep Sportswear, Chad was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Rainier Financial Group, an independent investment advisory firm located in Seattle, Washington. Chad entered the financial industry in 1999 and served three years as a top-performing financial advisor for a Fortune™ 500 financial services company.
Chad played professional baseball for six years from 1994-1999 with the San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers and Colorado Rockies organizations. Prior to his professional baseball career, Chad was the team captain of the Pac-10 Champion University of Washington Baseball Team in 1993 and 1994. Chad started his college baseball career at the University of Notre Dame where he studied Finance and Economics for two years. He was also a member of the 1982 Little League World Championship team from Kirkland National Little League.
Mr. Hartvigson holds a B.A. from the University of Washington in Economics and Business Management.
Ivan Chachkov, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
Ivan Chachkov brings over 15 years of international experience building consumer and business oriented e-commerce sites. His e-commerce experience has included many projects involving extensive integration of e-commerce providers, information technology and infrastructure companies.
Ivan was the system architect responsible for the architectural design and implementation of American Express Shopping site www.shopamex.com and other e-commerce applications at InfoSpace, a leading technology company in Bellevue, Washington.
Prior to InfoSpace, Ivan spent two years as the Senior Architect for INEX Corporation of Toronto, Canada, a Microsoft solution provider. While at INEX, Ivan was technical lead for the development of a scalable multi-web storefront system acquired by InfoSapce.
In 1996-1997, Ivan designed, handled the lead development and deployment of the first e-commerce system based on emerging Internet technologies in Russia for Siberian Chemical Plant the largest enterprise producing nuclear plant in Russia. Ivan also worked for the Russian Oil and Gas Construction bank in the initial roll out of the ATM terminal network in Russia.
Ivan graduated from the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics with a Masters degree in Computer Systems.
Patrick Terrell, Vice President Digital Marketing
Patrick Terrell is the Vice President of Digital Marketing at Prep Sportswear. Patrick is responsible for the company’s overall marketing strategy and oversees the marketing, product and product design teams. He brings over 15 years of digital marketing experience with a focus in e-commerce.
During the late 90’s, Patrick worked in the San Francisco advertising agency industry executing integrated marketing and promotional campaigns for various start-up and Fortune 500 businesses. It was then that he discovered his passion for digital and soon after launched his first e-commerce business.
Prior to joining Prep Sportswear, Patrick worked for Billabong Australia as E-commerce Director, leading global e-commerce and digital solutions for the Group. He was Director of Marketing for Australia’s largest online surf retailer, SurfStitch.com, which has won numerous awards including 2012 Online Retailer of the Year, Best Use of Technology and Best Site and Optimization. Patrick was an integral part of the success of SurfStitch.com and has been recognized as an industry thought leader by Australia’s e-commerce community.
Patrick has also worked for other leading e-commerce businesses, including Petco, Road Runner Sports and Collectibles Today, the e-commerce division for direct marketer The Bradford Group.
Mr. Terrell holds a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelors of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida.
Grant Hartvigson, Co-Founder and Director
Grant Hartvigson is a Co-Founder and Director of Prep Sportswear. Grant holds a seat on the Prep Sportswear Board of Directors. He brings 16 years of entrepreneurial experience along with expertise in corporate finance.
Grant is a Wealth Advisor and Managing Partner for Rainier Financial Group Inc. Rainier Financial Group was named to the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Fasters Growing Private Companies in the State of Washington in 2011 and 2012. Grant is a member of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s prestigious “40 under 40” thus recognizing him as a dynamic leader in the both industry and the community in 2011. He has also been named as a “Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Advisor” by Seattle Magazine for seven consecutive years (2006 – 2012).
He is a graduate of the University of Washington, where he received a degree in Finance with Honors.
